New phone installs require a $50.00 security deposit to be paid prior to installation. The deposit will be refunded on the customer’s bill after six months of on-time payments.
Area Code Exhaust
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio has implemented an area code overlay to relieve the 419-area numbers. A new area code number of 567 will be assigned to new telephone numbers after the 419 numbers are exhausted.
As of December 1, 2011, all customers in the 419 are required to dial 10 digits for all local calls.

You may call local exchanges without a toll charge by dialing the listed directory numbers. In McClure from a 419-748 prefix you may call the following prefixes toll free:
419-256, 419-278, 419-430, 419-437, 419-550, 419-748
Please note that calls may not be toll free if the called party has ported their number.
